How much torque do you get on a stock 305 Camaro RS? And whats teh best way to go about getting more torque? Like 500lbs psi?

 

i think the first thing you need to know is torque isn't measured in PSI

I think the only way to get 500ft/lbs in a 305 would be blown or sprayed, in order to let it live on the street.

 

Well how can I get more than the stock 255@2400?? And how much more can I achieve?

how much did your chip cost, where'd ya get it?

 

blowers for 305s are impossible to find that are O.K. for the street. As for spraying... your nuts if you think you will be spraying alot. 305's have good cams for Spray however, but just not enough duration. lift helps too. I;m tryin to find a way to run a lumpy cam in my stock 305, but things like knock sensors and timing issues come out in a ECM controlled car.
