Electric Fuel Pump Question
Someday, I'd like to add an afftermarket EFI system to my '85 Z28 which came with everyone's favorite, the LG4. I know I'm gonna need an electric fuel pump. So the question is this: is there an easy way to put one in, I've heard lots of horror stories from not just friends, but mechanics as well about pulling the tanks off thirdgens. Is there such a thing as an inline pump out there I could look into? That would be alot easier.

The easyest thing to do is to get a complete fuel tank from a FI car and slap it in.
There was a high pressure fuel pump for converting to FI "rail pump" but I havent seen it in a while. It had some sort of cooler attached and used 2 cycle oil. It would just be better to get a complete tank.

I belive Holley and Mallory (and probably others) still offer high pressure electric inline pumps.
