Which one goes where?

Allrighty. So I've almost got everything put back together, and there's only a few small things holding me back now basically. In my infinite wisdom I decided "oh, well there's only one place these connectors can go to, so I wont bother labelling them" .

Well, I've got these that both will hook into the Knock Sensor, but I dont know which one is actually FOR the knock sensor. Any help folks ? This is for an LG4 ( or atleast that's how it's being setup )

I'm also trying to figure out where this ground wire went, and where this other connector w/ 3 outlets went.

Thanks in advanced, I dont like headaches

The green wire is for the pass side temp sensor and the other for the knock sensor. My temp sensor connector just fell apart. I have to get another.

That ground goes on the firewall someplace.

Not sure about the 3 wire connector. Looks like a TPS connector. Are the slots in the side or on the top?

What is the harness from? Was that your origional or is it changed?

The passenger side temp sensor? I have what I thought was a temperature relay on the driver side head, and the coolant temperature sensor is in the thermostat housing? Have any pictures of what the sensor is supposed to look like? I have a slew of sensor all over my garage lol.

I went out, and the one you said was TPS, was for the TPS . I am thinking that the ground is supposed to go to the rear of the head? I'm sure that it wouldnt matter just as long as it's on a good ground, right?

Now I just need to put my knock sensor in on the passenger side and I'll be good to go. The drain plug wont budge lol, I'll PB Blaster it some more.

Yes, rear of the head, why I thought firewall is beyond me.

There are temp sensors all over the place depending on the engine. The green wire looks like the connector for a TPI temp sensor located on the pass side head above the knock sensor on a TPI. On a TPI that one is just for the fans. The one in the normal position on the front drivers side head does the gauge in the cluster. Not sure of the configuration on some others like CC carb and TBI. My carbs are non CC.

GM is fairly good at keeping wire colours the same regardless of year/engine.
