Fuel pump? Maybe? Car is dying at idle..help

I'm at the end of my rope here. The formy is dying again. It wont run over unless I give it gas. It wont stay on unless I give it gas. In order for me to go through a stoip sign, I have to put it in neutral, holding the rpm's up with my right foot while using the brake with the left. Get to a stop, keep the rpms up as I shift, let off a little right before it engages, feel the gear engage, give it gas again real fast before it dies.
The car has new plugs, new wires, new cap and rotor, new coil, new headers, new positive battery cable (previous shorted out because it got caught on the header and caught fire) I think I have the timing set where I want it.

Is this the fuel pump? Or fuel pump relay? Both? At WOT I can hear clicking coming from the relays. I think something got blown when my battery cable shorted out against the header. But the pump may be toast too, I have no idea. It ****ing pisses me off. It takes all of my strength not to go kick the **** out of that damn car. It's been broken for weeks now. ****in POS.

By the way, with the car running very badly, it still pulled a 14.7 at the track last night. My buddy Gary got a 14.2 out of his in the horrible houston humidity. I think that if I can get these damn problems straightened out, on a nice winter night I'll be hitting 13's.

For those of you that don't know, it is a 1992 Firebird Formula 350.

That's an awful nice car to kick. Have you tried setting the minimum air ? I'm guessing you're not getting any codes since you didn't mention any.

Iv'e found the problem. The vacuum line that goes to the EGR valve is broken. I don't know where it goes though. Under the distributor somewhere, I cant find the other end. A friend is coming over with a SD TPI car like mine so we can compare them and find it.

And yeah I did throw the code 32
