How Much Horsepower On Stock Fuel Pump And Rails
I will be building a 400+ HP small block for my 89 GTA soon. I am wondering what are the capabilities of the stock fuel system. Will i need a higher flow fuel pump, or what about rails, I will be getting 30# injectors.
My motor:
TFS 23 degree Kenny Dutweiler Heads CNC 64 cc.
LPE 219 cam with 1.6 roller rockers.
10.5 compression pistons.
LPE SuperRam intake system
BBK dual 58 mm throttle body.
Everything ported and gasket-matched.
SLP 1 3/4 headers

The fuel rails will be fine with your current combo. The fuel pump depends on what pressure you are running. If you are running close to stock fuel pressue...and the stock pump is able to keep up, then don't worry about it.
