630hp GM Bow Tie Vortec Build
This isn't your average 355 CHP buildup. Deff worth a read for those who haven't already.
Blue Thunder 355
Those new vortec castings seem quite promissing. Has anyone found any information posted on them other then from GM?

CHP magazine just did a test of all available vortec heads with 190 cc runners or smaller. They did better than stock but not worth twice the $$$$

These aren't the heads used in the recent mag comparision.
Love the cam, too: 260/264 @ .050 - that would make a nice street engine.

I want to know how they hell they got over 600hp when the heads barely flow 275cfm. Not only that - the exhaust flow is ****-poor, almost like unported L98 aluminum heads.
Very interesting.
