Idle Vibration after header install
When my car is in gear and I have my foot on the brake while at a deap stop my car vibrates pretty badly. IT seems like its lugging a little.
It has done this for awhile now but after I go my headers installed it is much worse.
Are the headers just causing it to vibrate more? Did the guy that installed my headers mess up my TV cable perhaps? What if I turned the fuel pressure up.... could it simply not have enough fuel pressure since I added full ram air, hypertech chip, and headers?
Any info and/or help is greatly appreciated.

It could be either your cat got knocked around and something broke loose in it, if so time for a new cat. Second it could be the AIR tbe if it wasn't secured properly to the headers. Either will cause a real annoying rattle at idle.

Check to make sure the y pipe isn't resting on the body anywhere. Loose connections in the exaust somewhere...maybe loose or missing bolts for the accesory support brackets.
Raising your fuel pressure a bit would probably be a good idea..but it won't fix this problem.

"I went to 0.055", and the car was sluggish at low RPM's, and the exhaust smelled horrible. I went back to 0.050" gap"
I got that out of a post in the general engine board about spark plug reccomendations.
This guy is saying that he changed his plug gap and the exhaust smelled worse and the car was sluggish at low RPM.
When I get my headers installed, I had new AC Delco (nonplatnum) spark plugs put in. They are the stock plugs for an 89 L98 from pep boys.
Well could the new spark plugs be the reason for the idle vibration, and the fact that I can smell the exhaust more as well???
