Scan Results........Opinions

Here is my scan numbers for my run with my Turbo Link.

2250 rpm 4in vac TPS=4.1 o2= 699mv
3425 rpm 5.3 vac TPS=4.14 o2=830mv
4550 rpm 8.1 vac TPS=3.04 o2=800mv

These are the numbers but I think turbo link only picks up at 1.5 seconds so I never got the scan @ 5000rpm. I also have vaccume at wide open throttle (is this right) Please tell me what you think.

Brian,

Everything looks pretty good. The mV readign of the O2 sensor is right about on for an system in the power enrichment mode at lower RPM. As the RPM increases, the mixture gets a little closer to the ideal ratio and the mV reading rises a bit.

The relatively low vacuum is perfectly fine for a loaded engine with high throttle openings (4.1V at the TPS is a fairly high opening). As the engine speed increases, the vacuum increases as well - perfectly normal readings. There should always be some vacuum on a normally aspirated engine, regardless of throttle opening.

The TPS looks good, too. You are over 4.0VDC, so the ECM should be in power enrichment as long as the RPM is correct and the engine is at operating temperature.
