Well I removed the bent axle as per Vader and ede instructions. I tried finding an electric motor repair/rewind shop as per Vaders instructions but no such luck(at least around here). It was simple enough to get it off but.... I can't find a place to repair it or for that matter i can't even find a replacement one at the local salvage yard. How much do they usually run if i eventually run in to one? I remember seeing in a post that someone was selling a 9 bolt rear for parts. If anyone has 9 bolt axle shaft please let me know or if anyone has another suggestion do not hesistate to lety me know. Thanks.

Call a machine shop and explain the situation, they should be able to give you a yes or no quote after they look at it.

 

I have called many machine shops and axle shops. As soon as I said it was a BW they laughed and told me to use it as a paper weight. But thanks anyways.

Have you tried doing a cross reference at the junk yard?

At our local junk yard you tell them the part you're looking for and they give you a sheet of other cars that have the same parts.

Just a thought.
