ok i took out the coolent temp sensor from the manifold but it came out ****ed up now the threads are jacked. the first few rows of threads look striped but the other ones behind them look good but when i tried to screw in the new sensor all it did was jack up the first rows of threads on it and fall out.... i couldnt get it on the good threads... what should i do?

 

Tap the threads if they aren't totally jacked up. If the sensor's threads are now jacked too use a die on it to clean them up.
