Roller Cam identification Help Please

I bought a roller cam off ebay and would like to verify it before installation if possible. Its suppose to be a cam from a ZZ4 motor. Here are the numbers off of the cam. 641 CPC BC7 any help if disappointing help would be appreciated.

BRH,

I can't tell by either the numbers or the photo. I'd have to set it in blocks or attack it with a pair of calipers to get gross lift numbers for comparison. A check with the mic or calipers from front to back on a lobe should also decide whether it is a roller or flat tappet design.

The nose looks like a roller cam, but the wear patterns on the lobes sorta look like flat.

Any possibility some idiot used a ZZ4 cam with flat tappets?

The wear patterns on stock GM rollers are kinda odd...

I cant help either on the cam, but is it just the pic or is that third lobe back kinda worn down in the center?

GM camshafts have the last three digits of the part number stamped into it. "071" being the last three for the "ZZ3" camshaft (the same cam used in the "ZZ4" engine).

I would assume your "641" is the last three of the part number to the cam, but unfortunatly, I can't find a GM cam w/ that last three.
