Axle/Gears: 9 bolt
Rebuild?

if i was going to port my heads with new valves and seals and every thing would i need to rebuild my engine? ive heard that it will suck the piston rings right off the pistons? my motor has 110k miles

rings getting sucked off the pistons happens all the time and ported heads only make it worse have you ever seen a piston, with or without rings on it? no way rings can get "sucked off the piston"

i didnt htink it could happen but i thought aboput it and ive seen piston rings fall into peices when the piston came out of the block and i could think if the valves leaked from the 110k miles and then you put new ones in and the pressure is restored it was possible i was asking becasue i didnt know i guess i wont ask anythign else
