help

Hi, i have an 87 iroc camaro with a 305 carb. what kind of oil should i use 10w-30 or 10w-40. thanks

How many miles are on your car? How much oil does your car consume? Does it have any oil leaks? I live in southwest Florida and I use 10w40 year round. I think you should use 10w40 in the summer and 10w30 in the winter. If you have low oil pressure or have some leaks, you might want to use 20w50 or even SAE 30.

its got about 130,000. and it does have an oil leak that i need to get fixed.
