feels weak after intake/cam/exhaust
I recently put a super ram intake, edelbrock base, lt4 cam and 1.6 roller rockers, ported aluminum l98 heads, edelbrock coated TES on, and the car feels really weak. I haven't driven it far at all, because the coolant temp sensor in the head isn't working and I really don't want to screw anything up. I also changed over to serpentine from v-belt.
Now, I can hear a vacuum leak from the passenger side runner, would this cause bad acceleration? I know its causing my sloppy idle. It will die out occasionally if I am stopped, Im going to tear the intake off tomorrow to fix that.
One more thing, how much loping(if any) should I see from this cam? It is NOT the HOT cam, just a stock LT4 cam with 1.6 ratio rockers. It feels like there is much more cam in there at idle. Im guessing that the vacuum leak is causing this, though.
Okay, last thing here, really.. Should I be looking into a new chip with these mods? Will fuel starvation be a factor at all? My entire fuel system is stock, except afpr set at stock pressure.
