Need some help
this isnt 3rd gen related, rather Chevy related.
PLEASE DONT shut it down ..
anyway, were pulling the block out of a 66 chevy Pickup
3 spd tranny, (3 on a tree)
we have everything ready, but we cant get it to come out.
How do I ..
unbolt or seperate a manual tranny from a block?
whats the easiest way to get a wrench up near the fly wheel?
this is my first time pulling a block with a manual tranny.
we disconnected the clutch linkage, tranny bolts motor mounts,
pretty much everything holding it in.
just need alil help
thanks

if you have everything unbolted/unhooked pull harder and use a pry bar between the block and bell. it's stuck on the dowells. don't worry about getting a wrench up to the fly wheel untill the engine is out.

Ive been away for a couple days.
Its probaly just stuck from all the years its been

my first idea was the prybar .. but I didnt want to
break anything .. not my ride.
he doesnt have alot of exp. with engines, and for me..
this truck is alil different ..but easier to work on
than the ole T/A.
just being cautious .. I like this ole 66 chevy
