Can someone tell me what this is for?

I am in the process of installing a edelbrock performer RPM intake and carb, and im not sure of what this hole on the intake is for. Here it is:

Car: clapped out 84Z

Engine: 355 efi roller

Transmission: tremec TKO

Vacuum fitting, probably would work good for your brakes.

Your talking about the brake line that comes off near the master cylinder? I hope so because i was wondering about that.
