PCM - Pulse Code Modulation (But they might mean Powertrain Control Module)
ECM - Engine Control Modules
ECU - Engine Control Unit
ECM - Engine Control Modules
ECU - Engine Control Unit
yeah i know what they stand for, but is there any difference between them
the way i was thinking was
pcm controlled the powertrain(engine and transmission) and is used on newer electronically controlled transmissions like the 4l60-e
and the ecm just controlled just the engine, but not transmission for manual and non-electronically controlled autos(700r4 ect)
am i correct?
