Not starting, volt drop at gauge. Silence...when trying 2 start! It's either cables witch look ok or i hear shims this starter that???Solenoid is new, connections look ok...need good help? everyone join in and give there help and wealth of knowledge!!
Works when I connect a charger up 2 a charged battery an turn it to a 50 amp start and battery should be good; Die Hard Gold.

If it starts with a different battery and/or a charger, then the starter is OK, shims are OK, cables are OK, etc. If it doesn't work with the battery that's in it, but it works with another one, then the battery that's in it is bad.
This is not rocket science here; it's just a car battery. "Should be good" is a whole world apart from "IS good". Parts don't listen too much to people talking about "should be" this that or the other. Either they work or they don't.
Looks to me like you need a battery.

Sounds like it could be your neutral safety is buggered. I have mine wired to a toggle switch (long story)... but thats EXACTLY what mine does when I forget to flip it. Nothing at all happens with the starter, but you can see on the guage the voltage drops a little bit.
EDIT - Oops... missed the part about it working when you use a charger.

First I'd take the battery to get it tested... Next I'd take the starter off and get it tested (make sure to monitor the amp draw on the starter as well)..
