Rebuilding L98, What to do and where in Orlando

I need to have my L98 rebuilt and would like to know how much I should expect to spend. Personally, I am leaning towards a 383 strong enough to reliably run low 11s and maintain streetability. Please list the major features of your rebuild and how much it cost.

Any help finding a good engine builder and / or machine shop in Orlando would also be greatly appreciated.

It would also be interesting to learn about any common pitfalls I should avoid.

I don't know if this will help, but there's a guy who has a shop on Hanging Moss Rd, which runs between Semoran/436 and Forsyth. I'm told he builds racing engines. I hear him breaking in engines all the time from across the street where I work. Take a spin down that road sometime and keep your eyes on the north side of the street, you'll see the place. Sorry I can't remember what it's called.
