TPI shooting way too much fuel

I'm needing some help on a problem I have with my 86 TrnsAm.It has a 305 V8 TPI enjected..Let me start at the beginning..I was cruising to work..when i felt like i hit a pothole...and my car just died..never had this prob before..I coasted to a closed gas station.Put it back in Park..and then tried to restart my car..it just cranked..but wouldn't start..it did sound different than usual..when starting.First i thought it wasn't getting no spark..as if my coil went out..but it is..I pulled one of the spark plugs out and checked it..was covered in gas..dripping..I had a friend crank my car with..the one spark plug out..and Gas just squirted out up my Forearm...I'm no mechanic..but i thought Gas is just to spray a light mist into the chamber..I had the car towed to a friend's House..he is a certifide Mechanic..works for the City as a mechanic..He thought it was the computer chip..we replaced it with a new one..but..still won't start..keeps flooding with fuel...I did have a busted motor mount..which i thought might be the reason why i have this prob...i have fixed the motor mount..but I'm guessing..that i might have nocked something loose..that has something to do with my TPI..I was accelerating..when i felt what seemed like a pothole..when it just died..So..if anybody has any ideas..they can give me..PLEASE REPLY..I do miss my TransAM..Badly..now its just sitting pretty..

Wow...welcoome to thirdgen.org.

Seems if you have that much fuel in the cylinders, it must just be dmping in from somewhere...

A few possible causes could be the fuel regulator has ruptured or an injector(s) are stuck open (which leads to several "how come's"). The cold start valve could be open as well.
