We just put a 350 in an 89 formula and can't get the RPM's above 2500 with your foot to the floor. Needless to say we can't keep it running. It will start with your foot to the floor buts dies when you let off the gas. I assume it is an electrical problem, but any suggestions to what exactly it might be would be great. We are stumpped.

As far as the shift points try adjusting your TV cable. Go to the tranny board and look for similar posts about shift points and follow transfixleo's guide to adjusting it.

Fuel pressure at??

clogged cat??

These are just a few things that would cause the same symptoms.

next time i have a headache maybe i should call my doctor and ask why...maybe i'll have a cold, be stressed, under to much light, but whatever it is he should know right??? no. same with cars. how about some important information to go with this glorious question like is the timing advancing, is it rich, is it lean, is it missfiring, etc. these questions need to be answered before your going to get much help. this is like calling b and m and saying my trans shifts funny, what is it.
