Does this Zmax Additive work?

My dad put the fuel portion in his car and the smoke went away and it runs great! Any one have any experience with the oil additive? It looks like it may do what they claim it does just want to make sure its not a garbage product that ill regret using later.

Thanks
-Michael

It's a waste of money. If I remember correct it's just mineral oil.

Some modern oil additives are using Teflon and other friction reducers to achieve thier claims. The problem is that modern oils are so good and they themselves are getting better friction additives that spending money on additional ones is basically a zero sum game. Use a good oil, ones like Amsoil and Mobil 1 synthetics have excellent friction reducers or any top shelf conventional and you will be fine.
