EVERYONE HELP ME ANYTHING PLEASE
i have a 91 305 tbi i have a hypertech chip i just put a edelbrock cam in 194 214 at .050 lift i went from a roller to a hydrolic i put on pacesetter headers on along with a edelbrock prformer intake for the tbi we put all on and i beleive the timing is at 6 or eight degrees TDC when i drive it it feels as if it has no power when i drop it from park to drive the rpms drop really low and the car shakes. its got speratic idle but not really rough all the time. It accelerates slower than it used to and it worries me. Its too much money to spend and not have it work right. DOES THE TIMING NEED TO BE ADVANCED DOES THE FUEL PSI NEED TO BE CHANGED OR EVEN BIGGER INJECTORS remember the car doesnt feel as if it has get up power.weird idle and no throttle response

Sounds to me like 2 plug wires are reversed, or at least one injector isn't working right.

Some ideas:
You went from a roller to flat-tappet cam...did you change pushrods also? The lengths are different and not interchangeable between the two designs.
You mentioned timing set at 6 or 8 "TDC"...do you mean BTDC (before top dead center) or ATDC (after " " ")? Double-check it with a good timing light.
Otherwise, I'd say the cam is installed incorrectly and the cam/crank timing is off. The only way to be absolutely sure is with the timing cover off and a timing wheel setup to degree the cam accurately.

if you never changed push rods you sure need to. also you need to find out where the timing is, there is no 6* tdc.
