Removing AC Compressor on a V-Belt Car???

How hard is it to remove the Ac Compressor on my 86 TA (V-Belts not Serpentine)? Would I just need to get a shorter belt or would I need to get some sort of delete pulley?

Anybody do this? My AC is non-functional, rusty and makes noises when engine is on, so its got to go.

BTW What else can I remove from the engine bay if I do take out the Compressor?

Maks,

You should be able to run the PS pump with a single belt and forget about the one for the AC compressor.

If you remove the compressor, you can also remove the condenser from the front of the radiator (or have the world's largest transmission cooler), remove the accumulator, pressure switch, evaporator coil and housing (you'll need to replace it with a heater-only cover), and remove all the plumbing and hoses connecting the devices.

To complete the job correctly, you should change the heater control unit and trim bezel, remove the recirculation air door, and change the PROM in the ECM to a non-AC type.
