Need suggestions

I just got word from Thunder Racing that my Vortec Holley Stealth Ram will not be shipped untill at least August 22. Here is the problem:

I go away to Suny Morrisville (college) on august 18th and I was hoping to get my spdc engine in the car before then. It's not just because my current engine is a 305, but also because it has leaks and 300k on her.

I already had the panless wiring tpi harness, ford svo 30lb injectors, holley 58mm TB, holley 255lph fuel pump, msd distributer, wires, and 6al box, accel shortie spark plugs, hooker super comp headers, engine mounts, radiator upper and lower hoses, water pump, thermostat, and a lot more to do this swap.

So, because this crate motor came with the spdc tpi baseplate, i figured i would look around and grab a plennum, tpi runners, maf sensor, relays, fuel rails, and computer. I called up the J/Y around here and they qouted me $350 for those used parts! Even ebay is a bit pricey right now. What should I do? I don't want to spend 300 bucks for something im going to use not even a month and 1/2.

My current engine is a 305 TBI lame 175hp POS. ! I need to figure out what to do and soon. I'm working everyday at autozone over here and I'm running out of time to complete this swap before I go away to college. I would have never thought it would take over 2 and 1/2 months after ordering a vortec HSR for it to be shipped. ANy input and/or suggestions would help me out a great deal. -Thanks for your time.

Wow, my solution just came within a phone call from Thunder Racing. The guy on the phone said my vortec HSR was shipped today and that i'll be recieving an email with the tracking number for it. I'm so happy!

Gotta tell this little story. I was at autozone buying oil and filters for the 305 thinking I'de be stuck with it for a while. On my way out the door my phone rings. It's my mom telling me that Thunder Racing called and said my HSR was in. I was like "NO WAY" and started jumping up and down. I probably looked pretty gay in front of the store I work at... lol
