Draining Fuel Tank
I searched the site for some helpful hints on draining the gas tank, however I havent seen anything more than syphoning the gas from the tank.
I havent looked at the tank yet, but wondered if there are any drain plugs? If not, whats the trick to emptying old gas from a tank?
All suggestions encouraged.

I am assuming your changing a FUel Pump.
When you have the car up in the air and you are ready to drop the tank there should be 3 Fuel lines: (at least thats what the is on mine)
1) The large line is your Feed line TO the Engine
2) The Small line should go to the Canister
3) The medium line is the retun fuel to the tank. This is the one your interested in, It will syphon all but about 2 to 3 gal when you disconnect it. Its a good idea to drain the remaining fuel out when yo go to put the tank back into the car, it will help you stablize it, as you will push up with one arm wile the other arm attempts to bolt on the straps.
Get thyself a LARGE gas can, I have 2 6 Gallon ones, they come in very handy for this. Then when you disconnect the medium fuel line aim it at the hole with a funnel, and away you go. It will drain on its own.
I have also connected a fuel pressure gage up to the pressure relief valve under the hood on the engine. My gage has a relief button that when you push the button it drains out. I did this on a FP that was really weak, but it ran well enough to pump all the fuel into a gas tank.
Good luck and DON"t SMOKE
