external coil help

i have just dropped in my pro comp 1000-1 direct replacement for 87 -92 external coil into my 86 which previosly had large cap in cap coil type 4 wire connector and one power and tacho. cut off the old connector(86) style and spliced the new connector with WHITE WIRE( e)advance control signal on far right of 87 connector with clip that attaches to dizzie facing up then beside it i attached PURPLE WIRE(r) tach signal then beside it TAN WIRE(b) overide cranking signal I AM NOW LEFT WITH THE GROUND PIN (last pin on left with clip facing up PIN G)

DO I ATTACH THE ONE REMAINING WIRE BLACK WITH RED TRACE (the left over wire from 86 plug) STRAIGHT TO THIS PIN ?

OR DO I CONNECT THE WIRE COMING FROM pinG on distributer STRAIGHT TO THE FIRE WALL(with bolt ) AND not worry about left over wire ?

OR FROM PIN G TO FIRE WALL and BLACK WIRE FROM ECM TO FIRE WALL SO THAT BOTH WIRES ARE GROUNDED ?
i also have a q about the remote coil i have mounted in car the pink wire(POWER) that used to go to the top of the large 86 hei coil will now go straight to the positive side of coil and the brown(TACHO) to the negative side of coil

DO I NOW ATTACH ANOTHER WIRE FROM POSITIVE SIDE OF COIL TO THE SMALL PLUG WHICH ATTACHES TO THE DIZZIE ? (positive on left with clip facing up that attaches to dizzie beside 4 prong connector)
AND ANOTHER WIRE FROM NEGATIVE SIDE OF COIL TO THE SAME PLUG the pin on the right to the power (marked c on the diagrams ) ?
ALSO DO I HAVE TO RUN A WIRE FROM THE NEGATIVE SIDE OF COIL TO THE FIREWALL?
any help you can give would be great as i do not want to get it towed to auto elects as i live 70 k,sfrom town and as decribed above it does not seem to much of a prob once wires are soughted.
