damage maybe oil pressure??

damage maybe oil pressure??

just replace the stock oil pressure sensor. i am not sure if it is the right part but it works. could using the wrong sensore damage anything???? car runs fine, it shows oil pressure a lil under 30psi at idil, is this normal, dont know cuz the orginal one never worked right. the part number is ps-237. can some one help me out??

Around 30 psi at idle and 45 psi off idle is normal for a warmed up engine.

You'd know if you had the wrong sender because the gauge would be wacky or the electrical connector wouldn't plug in.
