Which Torque converter?
Sorry for asking this twice but i'm ordering tonight and this board gets way more traffic!
Which torgue converter is better, both in quality, life, power, and fuel economy? Which is the best all around converter for around town driving, autox, and limited highway driving? Which would you go with?
B&M Tork Master Torque Converter

Hughes Performance Street Rod Torque Converters

This is for my new Summit th350 that in going to also get.

This setup is for my 83 Z28. It weighs 3000#'s has 3.73 posi and will have 275/40-18 rear tires. The motor is a LG4 305 with Aluminum LT1 heads, 10.3 compression, Comp solid lifter XS-262-10 cam with 1.6 RR's, a weiand stealth intake topped with a holle 4160 VS 600 carb, and 1/5 Heddman Headers.
Also if you have any other recommendations for a cheap converter upto around $150 feel free to include that. I'm not looking for dragstrip performance here, so keep that in mind.
Thanks,
Leigh

You're going to love that car. I'd look for something around a 3000-3200 stall with that car. 3200RPM stall would've been perfect for my 5.0L LT1 setup with a 210*/220* cam. The 3.73s should be about perfect. My 3.23s were a bit low.
Sorry I never got back to you with pictures by the way. I'll take some of the new motor and send them once I have it all wired up. I didn't take any of the new motor before I set it in the car.

Ya have to keep in mind that most off the shelf converters are rated for stall speed when hooked up to a 350CI motor.
A 305 makes quite a bit less torque, therefor the actual stall speed will be lower than the rated stall speed.
If you want about a 3000 stall behind a 305ci motor , I would look for a "3500stall" converter which would be a 10" converter like B&M 's "Super" Hole Shot. 0r Hole Shot "3600".
