How do you convert from a mechanical to an electric fuel pump? What materials and costs? I've heard aeromotive makes the best fuel pumps. Let me know guys.

I converted from an intank elect to an external elect. Dropped the tank, removed the original, and extended the line down to almost the bottom of the tank. I also used the return line as a second pickup. I extended it to near the bottom.

Both lines attach to a Y block before going to a paxton 150gph pump mounted against the rear seat on the drivers side. (does loose prime everynow and then bc elect pumps don't like to draw, they like gravity feeds).
Comming out of the pump I again use a Y block and run it to the front using the original delivery line and return line. A third Y block on the drivers fender then connects to a AN8 Steel braided hose to the regulator mounted between the bowls on the carb.
