Oil pressure sender Q

I searched all around the boards and nothing quite answered my question, Im getting the 0 Oil pressure thing on my stock gage, yet the car still is running, their for, im Preaty sure its the oil pressure sender. Can i still drive the car until i get the funds to pay for it? (low on cash, waiting for my paycheck to come in) thanks

Does the car making any unusual sounds? Does it start idling badly and stuff meaning that the knock sensor is retarding the timing?



If no, then yes, but be very cautious and be careful to watch for any signs of knocking.

Also make sure to check your oil dipstick every day or two before you get that sending unit.

It idles bad only until it warms up to normal op temp (the electronic choak on the carb being the reason, have the idle higher the should be to temp fix this only temporarly), only abnormal noise is from my cat rattleing around.. thats gonna be fixed here soon as well. Thanks for the quick answer
