88 irocz z turned carb...how do i get factory tach to work?

88 irocz z turned carb...how do i get factory tach to work?

I installed a rebuild 700r4 with shift kit and new 4 bolt main 350 bored 30 over moderate cam..anyhow i cant get the tach to work. I hooked it up to the white whire from the 2 prong sender that the HEI use to use..any ideas?

The white wire from thi HEI switching module/coil should be all you need for signal. Of course, the tach needs to get a 12VDC supply on the pink/black wire at the instrument panel, and a ground.
