Brodix Track 1X Question

I am looking at getting a set of brodix Track 1X aluminum heads. They have 222cc intake runners with 68cc combustion chambers. Anyone have any experience with these heads? Are they really that much better than the regular Track 1's? It says they require a T&D Economy or Jesel shaft system. Why is this? Any info on these heads would help. Thanks!

How large of an engine do you plan on building/using? The Track 1X are for 406 and larger engines.

Sorry I just read your profile, and if using the same 383, go with the regular Track 1s.

Yea, even if you decided to go with a solid roller on the Track1s, you can always buy a Moroso #67205, stud girdle, and you would come out cheaper than a Jesel.

The Track 1's are absolutely beautiful heads. Doing a build up now of a 6" rod 383 with them. I'll post dyno #'s after we get it done.

I think the recommend the Jesel shafts because it will improve the valvetrane stability with the cams they recommend. I think it also has something to do with the 40/60 rating of the pushrod slots. Again, I think this has something to do with the geometry and stability of the Valvetrane.
