Funny story first. Sunday on the way to a movie going down 664, this riced out new style civic was hot rodding around. I mean it had the large mouth bass GFX, a coffe can, and euro tailights. well, me and my friend boxed him in on the highway and pissed him off because we *** forbid did the speed limit (I do normally speed). Well, were coming up on this on/off ramp that has about a half mile acceleration/decelleration lane so I figured that he would try to go around my friend on the right. So I casually speed up and get beside the civic and laugh at him. Well he decides that hes going to race me instead of getting in behind me. Well I was pulling away from him in my 280,000 mi. missing lumina. when he ran out of lane he started running on the shoulder.we raced up till about 100. Then we were coming up on traffic so he slowed down and pulled in behind me. It was the funniest ****, he didnt even look over at me in my multi-colored, oil burning, peice of I will never die american iron when he went by me. Ricers are so fu(king hilarious! He must have felt like **** after that. The best part is when I finally got under the hood to figure out what was causing the miss, I discovered one of the sparkplug wires had been ate in half by the radiator fan! I beat a brand new civic with a 5clyinder engine with 280,000mi in a 3,400 pound car!

Wow, I had quite a similar experience this weekend. I too came upon a riced-out civic that raced me on the shoulder of the highway. The civic's both sound identical.....what a coincidence...

 

Wow! What a coincidence! I was washing one of my cars this weekend and rinsed out a couple of those "riced out" Hondas from the wheel wells. I wondered what that thumping noise was alll about. I thought I might have had a rock stuck in a tire tread.

Too bad none of this is technical....
