Camshaft Choice Help

I have a 89 RS with a 305 that just bit the dust. I am in the process of build a 350 (77 4-bolt main) here are the specs so far.

77 350 .40over
462 home ported heads shaved .010
edelbrock preformer intake
reconditioned stock rods
new cast crank
faltop pistons with four valve relifs
10:1
hooker heades
hooker cat back
stock y pipe
600 edelbrock carb
3.73 Gears
700r4 with stock converter

I plan to drive it to work during the week and race on the weekends. Does anyone have an suggestions on what cam would work best with this setup.

That is going to severely limit your choices. Something like a Comp XE256 is about all you're going to be able to handle.

Loosen up on the converter, and you'll have much better options available to you.
