Cruising RPM's
I have an 88 iroc 305 with the 5-speed, and I was wondering where i should shift at, and what RPM's I should cruise at.

All engines differ but my L69 likes it between 15000-27000 rpms.

He's got a manual, and you posted auto tranny information.
If you're trying to accelerate very fast, shift when you feel the engine isn't making any more power.
Cruise in 5th gear, unless you have to go 10 miles an hour, but that's not really cruising.

it will also depend on ur rear end. so maybe people should post that too

ummm.. shift when you reach the end of the power band.. that way, when you hit the next gear you'll be at the beginning of the power band, going up to the end again, and shift again, etc etc etc.. make sense? you should be able to feel it.. you don't need stats and numbers to tell you this.
