Questions on installing fuel filter.....
Ok, so I was reading my haynes manual and the installation of a fuel filter doesn't sound so hard. And they said that first, you need to unplug the fuel pump fuse and run the car until it dies, then crank it a couple more times to relieve the fuel pressure. But when I looked at my fuse box, there was NO fuel pump fuse. Anyone know why? Please help out...

There should be something labeled FP or INJ or something... It's not really necessary, though. Make sure the keys stay out of the ignition, and then remove the gascap and let the pressure out that way. There's going to be some fuel in the lines that will dribble out, but it won't be pressurized so it's not going to spray. If you have access to a lift, it makes the job a lot easier, although it is possible to do it laying on your back reaching your arms under the car.

Really? I just need to open the gas cap? Wow, thanks!

Removing the gas cap WILL NOT work. There will still be pressure in the fuel line.
IIRC the FP fuse is under the hood, near the battery, but I could be wrong... I don't mess around with the 6-cylinders too much...
