max lift?

max lift?

does anyone know how much lift is too much on a stock pistion 89 tpi sbc 350 block? with of course heads and springs that can handle the lift


I want to know If I am getting too close @ .554 or are the people running .6XX on stock dished pistions

it would be great to know befor putting clay in and then finding out

You're right. It would be great.

And it would be great to know the exact date I'm going to win the lottery.

You'll never know until you measure. Guessing is not an option. Valve timing plays too big of a role in the clearances.

there's no way to know without checking, but a good guess is over .65
