ecm in limp home mode & code 23?please help!

Engine: 5.7 L98 / LT1
Transmission: 700R4 / 6 speed manual
Axle/Gears: 3.42 posi / 4.11 posi
ecm in limp home mode & code 23?please help!
OK today i checked my 89 gta 5.7 tpi with a scantool and this was the outcome code 23 MAT -40deg F would this cause the ecm to go into LHM. the ecm is corrently in LHM. thanks in advance !!
