what is the sensor next to the CTS??
ok, this weekend i replaced the coolent temp sensor, and while i was taking it out, i had to unplug this other sensor to the left of the CTS. they both seem to look like they screw into the coolent path. (front of the engine) but this one has a a BIG plug going into it, and the harness looks like that of a fuel injector harness, expect alot bigger, i have lose my chiltons manual, and my TPI swappers guide doesnt say what it is, so what the heck is this thing? is it a fan switch maybe?

That is a temperature switch that controls the cold start injector.

Matt is on it. It is a basic analog temperature sensor with a simple timer device driving an output switch. The timer will allow a closure of the switch for up to eight seconds if the sensed coolant temperature is low enough. This varies the time that the cold start valve operates on cold engine starts.
