Was it rnning Ok, then started overheating? I have the same problem, I'm going to take out the t-stat on Friday and see what happens. I just got this car, so I'm not sure what happened before I got it.
There's plenty of things that could cause overheating. You replaced the thermostat so hopefully that's ruled out (but new products can fail, too...)
Check the front of the radiator. If too many fins are bent, or if any debris is blocking it, it'll overheat. Things also like to creep up between the radiator and the condensor.
Is the lower radiator air deflector in place? (more commonly called the air dam) It's a piece of plastic that sticks down off the bottom of the radiator and scoops up air to help with cooling. Of course, with the fan working, this might not help anyways.
Are you getting any engine knock? That could cause overheating.

i got the same problem as you do, i think its cuz i put an open air element on mine which made it start to overheat. you should try some water wetter first, and if that doesnt help, buy an aluminum radiator like a bcool which should definetly lower the old temp down
