I'm slowly upgrading this engine. Just the wires (8mm Accel) cap,rotor, bit. I would like to get an aftermaket coil like an MSD Blaster, or Accel 300+. Which one works with the otherwise stock ignition? Any preference, MSD or Accel. Do they wire into the stock wires or does this have to be modified?

Any of the them are good. I would recommend MSD. And you can get an MSD coil that is a direct replacement for your car. Should just be able to unplug the old one and the new one will plug in its place. I think anyways.....at least I know on my 88 its like that.
