Power Steering Removal

Well guys i finally got around to getting an electric water pump so i ordered a pulley kit from march so i could use my alt, with out the water pump/power steering/AC yada yada yada. So anyways i just had the stuff on there so i could route the belt the right way since its a serpentine system but now i dont need to so everything cam off. Just have the alt hooked up to my crank pulley. Now my question regards the power steering pump to the gear box connection. I removed it (yes i know its gonna be hard to turn but its pretty much track only and ill be getting an S10 one when i have some extra change lying around) however the two lines that came out of the gear box are now just open. So i just want to block them off but I just wanna know if that will cause any problems or anything. Im 99.9 percent sure theres no pressure in there since the pumps off but not 100 percent. So would I run into any problems if i just block it off and if not what is the thread size. One seems to be smaller than the other so im guessing 18.5 and 16.5 but once again not sure. Thanks guys appreciate the help.
