Axle/Gears: '01 3.42 10 bolt
need help

car idles high(1500rpm), idle surges between 700 and 1000rpm and got a code 45. these symptoms are not present all the time. a lot of times it idles fine.

Your oxygen sensor may be toast. Age, wear, fuel contamination, contamination from coolant of silicone sealant outgassing, or physical damage can kill a sensor.

just replaced it this morning. was doing this before the 02 sensor but never had a code before
