Timing question
Timing question
Hey whats up everyone, heres my prob. my timing needed adjusting bad on my 305 v8 engine.. I adjusted it but now when i accelrate at a high RPM my Choke light comes on...do i have it set to high or something... this only happens sometimes... otherwise the car runs better then it ever has since i owned it!

Maybe some people dont know or understand how adjusting the timing could set off your choke light!
What I would check is the choke fuse, Its right below the heater fuse. Its possible this could be your problem. Also check to make sure that the wires to the choke are hooked up.

your choke light is also your alternator warning light. i would load test your alternator.
