Anyone own the SLP CAI Dual inlet???
I've been looking at this for awhile, then I just saw this whole big show on TV about SLP and what they've done to F-Bodies over the years and it made me like it even more. Does anyone here own this, can you tell me anything about it? I have an '87 Camaro, it says I would have to move the battery which I really don't want to do. Is it possible to put it in without moving the battery? If I did have to move the battery, is it that hard to do? Is there any kind of kit I can get somewhere to do it, and is it alot of trouble?

Impossible to install without moving the battery. It's a nice quality piece that grabs cold air from the inside of the fenderwells and feeds it to the engine. Moving the battery is quite an ordeal. Lots of big cable, lots of time to figure out routing the cable safely. Plus if you plan on racing at the track you need to purchase a NHRA approved battery box and a battery cut off switch. It's really an expensive operations.
