Holley 52mm TB !!!
Has anyone else gone with the Holley TB? Since I have installed mine there is a idle problem that I cannot fix. I have reset the idle likie the GM Manual says. I replaced the TPS, and the IAC (3 times) with original GM parts. Everything has been done correctly. ONE THING, when i started taking things apart to inspect them, a couple of the screws that hold the throttle blades were loose! I mean one was almost all the way out. Has anyone else had a problem with the Holley unit?

There is probably too much air getting in. A 305 probably wouldn't ever need a 52mm throttle body anyways. Okay, well some people sometimes do, but not needed unless you're making some 400hp or more.
As for the screws....tighten them up while opening and closing the throttle between tightening. You want to make sure they are centered in the bores. My stock one sticks closed a little bit making light-throttle starts a pain sometimes. It appears that my throttle blade is contacting the bore for some reason. When I get back home from school, I'm going to take the blades out and finely sand the edges.
EDIT: Nice looking car by the way.

Howdy, Jason - long time no see!
Anyway - I had a Holley at one point that the TPS was hanging up on the TB, the little TPS lever was dragging on the TB so it would never close all the way. The blades would close, but the TPS would think they were still open. That really messed up my idling when it would do that. My solution was to just grind a little off the TPS engagement lever and then everything worked fine.
Hope you find your solution. Hope to see ya again soon, too!

I had the hanging problem at first... I just used some little washers to space it out about 1/16"
