Low fuel pressure. Relay maybe going???
All of a sudden, my car started to bog out, idle funny, and have a hard time starting. I checked my fuel pressure, and it was extremely low, likeat about 28 to 30. I tried turning up the pressure all the way (have adj. pres. reg.) and the pressure didn't even change. do you think my relay is going bad, or maybe would it be something in my fuel lines or what. Please help!!!!!!

Try a fuel filter first.

Try the filter and then check out the regulator.

I think there's a bad connection in the wire harness (did a splice to lengthen the wires to get to the oil pressure switch), and i had already replaced the switch, but the gauge in the car reads high oil pressure. the gauge shoots up to the max before the car starts, and i figure, if there's a bad connection to oil pressure switch, maybe its causing the fuel pump to go a little weird. would this be a possibility? Also, do you think a bad connection would cause the fuel relay to get hot, or is that normal?
