backfiring thru the carb
i just got finished rebuiling my suspension and when i started my car up it decided to "backfire" up thru the carb. it sat for 3 weeks.
it idles rough but when i rev it up it "spits".
350 gw with msd ignition and holley 600.

Transmission: 5-Speed/th350
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.73
I would check your spark plug wires, see if any of them are burned from hitting the headers. make sure they are all connected also. check to see if your distributor cap is wet. I had a prob when I did my carb swap and it was my timing. I would check that as well.

Check your plugs as stated to see if they are fouled out. Check the ignition sysetm components . If they are good check you timing.
