Best fuel injection optional engine for a swap???????
Best fuel injection optional engine for a swap???????
You can pick any engine you want EXCEPT a 3.8L turbo. Sorry but my tranny is gonna have to be a manual. So anything else? Im going to swap it into a 92 Camaro. What do you guys think about a 400cid LT1?
How about a 535 inch aluminum BBC with a RamJet injection system?
You didn't say "no big blocks", so I thought the option was open. It CERTAINLY isn't a 231CID turbo - it would suck that whole little Buick engine through one of it's valves - turbo(s) or not. I haven't seen a 231 make of 680 ft/lbs of tourque, no matter how much boost is dialed up.
If you really want to stick with a good old SBC, have you considered a 377 LT4? You might not want a stroker with a manual. You'll have all the torque you need to propel an 'F' car, and the higher-end power will make even the Ferraris jealous. Then again, the 535 is looking pretty good....
